Oh, absolutely NOT! In fact it doesn't even remotely hit my list of
sources of security-related info. BUT... for better or worse
Wikipedia has entered into mainstream web usage as a place that people
often go to find background on various topics. More to the point,
*reporters* and others in the media go to Wikipedia, sometimes perhaps
only as a jumping off point to other sites, but other times as a
source. We can argue whether that's right or wrong (or just lazy),
but it is what it is. Wikipedia also has good Googlejuice, so if you
search google on, say "voice spit", it's the #1 entry:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&channel=s&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=PSY&q=voice+spit&btnG=Search
So as an organization (VOIPSA) focused on getting accurate information
out there around VoIP security issues, it's in our interest, in my
opinion, to ensure that info in mainstream sites like Wikipedia is
reasonably accurate.

P.S. I do appreciate that someone got rid of "vamming"! ;-) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VoIP_spam
