If you use something like the Secure Mobile Architecture (SMA) for
end-to-end security, there is a Host Identity Protocol (HIP) Denial of
Service (DoS) approach built in. In the initiator-responder four way
handshake, there is a cookie puzzle to solve. The cookie puzzle takes
most of the impact out of DoS attacks.

Subject: [VOIPSEC] Test bed

hi,
Iam planning to design a test bed for analysing DoS attack on VoIP. My
aim is to identify an attack launched on VoIP services by monitoring the
traffic/signal.
Any ideas/suggestions are welcome.
This is just a basic one, i plan to extend the study to application
layer attacks and concentrate more on attacks on SIP like Registration
Hijacking, BYE, CANCEL, REFER attacks.

thanks in advance

regards
Anand
