Copyright and IP Policy

Please be aware that this site, accounts, content and comments are owned by VOIPSA, the VoIP Security Alliance, a not-for profit established for the public good. Access and membership are subject to the bylaws and rules of VOIPSA. VOIPSA will endeavor to provide attribution but may incorporate comments to improve content freely without further notice.

All patents, copyrights, or other intellectual property owned or created by any Member outside the VOIPSA or outside of VOIPSA activities (such as working groups) shall remain the property of that Member, and ownership and rights hereunder shall not be affected in any way by the Member's participation in the VOIPSA. Notwithstanding the above, all material presented to VOIPSA, including its various committees, shall be deemed of a non-confidential nature and hence for public distribution and any patents applied which read on such material shall be promptly disclosed and offered by letters of assurance to all members on reasonable and non-discriminatory terms and conditions. No patent may be asserted against a member in violation of this policy.

All software, documentation, and other materials produced by VOIPSA is intended to licensed according to one of the approved open source licenses, such as the GNU "Lesser" GNU Public License (LGPL) or the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL).
