[VOIPSEC] Parameters to measure VoIP application's efficiency and tool used for it.

Hi,

  I am building a new VoIP application, and am concerned about its
efficiency. What are the parameters, in addition to jitter, which can be
used to quantify the efficiency of my application? Is there any free tool
available for the same? If I look at the calls using wireshark, it shows the
jitter as 0. Hence, I am wondering about other parameters and other widely
used tools.
