Someone at ComputerWorld should perhaps fact-check their articles:

"There are more than 1,000 steganographic programs available for
download online that can place secret data within image, sound and text
files, Hosmer says, and then extract it. There are none for VoIP
steganography yet, but in the labs, researchers have come up with three
basic ways to carry it out."

I presented SteganRTP to DEFCON 15 in August 2007, and subsequently
published a paper on the tool in Uninformed Journal vol. 8 in September
of the same year.  Good to know that my tool doesn't exist (:
