VOIPSEC readers,

FYI, I'll be participating in a webinar today at 2pm sponsored by
Ingate and hosted by TMCNet about "Secure SIP Trunking". Anyone is
welcome to attend. Information can be found at:

    http://voipsa.org/blog/2008/04/02/secure-sip-trunking-webinar-
next-week-april-10-2008/

My role will be to talk about VoIP security issues and solutions in
general with an obvious focus on SIP trunking. Steve Johnson from
Ingate will follow me to talk about how their solutions help address
these security issues.

As I said in the blog entry, VOIPSA does not directly endorse,
recommend, or promote products from any vendors. Our mission is to
raise the level of discussion around VoIP security issues and so we
are glad to participate in any relevant educational efforts such as
webinars, conferences or other events. We are participating in this
and other events sponsored by Ingate simply because they asked us and
the events seemed in line with our overall mission. If you would
like to have VOIPSA participation in an event you are sponsoring
please feel free to contact me directly or one of the other VOIPSA
Board members ( http://www.voipsa.org/Membership/ ) and we'd be glad
to talk to you about participating in your event. Generally as long
as it is promoting discussion of VoIP security issues, is positive
(i.e. not bashing competitors), and not overly alarmist ("It's the
end of the world!"), we're usually glad to assist.

Regards,
Dan
