VOIPSEC readers,

FYI, VoIPshield Laboratories today announced the discovery of over
100 VoIP security vulnerabilities in Avaya, Cisco and Nortel systems.
Their press release is here:

   http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/voipshield-laboratories-
uncovers-over-100-vulnerabilities-in-leading-enterprise-voip-systems,
336217.shtml

The list of vulnerabilities is here:

   http://www.voipshield.com/research (currently showing 44
vulnerabilities)

My own view on this announcement is posted on the VOIPSA blog here:

   http://voipsa.org/blog/2008/04/02/voipshield-announces-discovery-
of-over-100-vulnerabilities-in-cisco-avaya-nortel-voip-systems/

If you have a VoIP system from Avaya, Cisco or Nortel, I would
strongly recommend that you review the list of vulnerabilities to see
which of those might be of concern to your systems.

Regards,
Dan
