Uh no he doesn't need all that garbage. He can do it on one Asterisk server:

ServerIP	10.20.30.1
ATA1 IP		22.33.44.1
ATA2 IP		77.88.99.1

Register both ATA's to 10.20.30.1 why would you even need to do anything
else.
