VOIPSEC readers,
Out at the Emerging Telephony conference last week, I met Jim Van Meggelen
who is one of the authors of the upcoming Asterisk Cookbook from O'Reilly.
If you aren't familiar with the O'Reilly cookbook series, essentially they
are collections of "recipes", aka tips and tricks, for how to work with
some system. Anyway, in our conversation, Jim asked if VOIPSA could help
connect him to people who can contribute information to the book related
to security and Asterisk.
So, per that request, if any of you on the list would like to contribute
to this Asterisk Cookbook, you can go to http://www.asteriskcookbook.com/
to sign up in the wiki. Apparently when you go to create a new account
you will wind up sending an email to Bruce Stewart at O'Reilly who will
then get you set up. Jim indicates that he's looking for any kind of
contributions that can add a security component to the book.
Regards,
Dan
