[VOIPSEC] Help requested: VoIP Architect

Dear Sirs,

I have a need for a VoIP Architect in Austin, TX. The salary range is
$125,000 to $150,000. The job description follows:

Position: IP Architect
Location: Austin, TX

Position Summary:

Client is looking for a highly skilled networking professional to serve as
IP Architect in Austin, TX. This position works closely with Marketing,
Engineering, QA, and Operations.

The IP Architect plans, designs, implements, and supports a "greenfield",
QoS-enabled network to support Voice over IP throughout the Client
footprint. The IP Architect understands all product plans and key milestones
and ensures that suitable network will be ready according to schedule and on
budget.

Qualifications:

-  B.S. Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics
-  Must have 5+ years relevant work experience
-  Experience developing network architectures and performing detailed
network designs
-  Expertise with switching and routing technologies: Ethernet, HDLC, PPP,
IP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, RSVP-TE, MPLS, LDP.
-  Expertise in application of queuing structures/design, hierarchical
queuing, etc.
-  Hands-on experience with network elements in non-stop production
environments (Cisco, Juniper, Redback, Foundry, Alcatel, etc).
-  Extensive knowledge of ARIN and IP address allocation practices
-  Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation
skills
-  Willingness to travel nationally

Preferred Qualifications:

-  PhD or M.S. Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics
-  Professional routing certifications, CCIE, JCIE, CCNP, or CCDP
-  Strong experience in Voice over IP
-  Knowledge of IMS, IP Multimedia Subsystem
-  Understanding of SIP call processing
-  Knowledge of Session Border Controllers (SBC)

Responsibilities:

-  Participate in IETF standardization process
-  Design and cost analyze Layer 2/3 networks
-  Implement Markov modeling of network availability.
-  Evaluate vendors, select equipment, and assemble budgets
-  Provide expert-level support for Ethernet/PPP/IP/MPLS
-  Assume lead role on service rollouts and upgrades
-  Support hands-on work with equipment in lab and production
-  Other duties as assigned.
