Jajah Subsidizes this cost.
I am not sure they have a sustainable model.

Subject: [VOIPSEC] A small question about jajah
Hi All:
I have just used the jajah. And the calls are low-cost, almost free.
For the most part, the call goes over the Internet, although the last-mile connection uses the PSTN or mobile service.
The call goes through the PSTN or mobile service, but it is free for registered users. How does the jajah pay the
cost of passing through the PSTN or mobile service?
That confuses me a lot.
