Adding to Rohit Dhamankar's analysis about marriage of
IP network and SS7 (traditional telephone) network,
IEEE Network magazine has published an article on "SS7
Over IP: Signaling Interworking Vulnerabilities"in its
November issue that talks about exactly the same type
