[VOIPSEC] SPIT (or whatever you call it) threats

Howdy,

I just subscribed to the list about a week ago and have enjoyed the
conversations so far. Has anyone performed or seen a threat modeling
type analysis of VOIP spam that illustrates all the different
scenarios and mitigation techniques or solutions. Specifically I think
it would help to illustrate to people what SPAM related issues exist
in because of PSTN legacy support versus what issues would not exist
in entirely voip world where PSTN DIDs were not needed, and everyone
had proper DNS with certificates on their devices etc... Thoughts?
