There are several items to consider with your particular case...
1. Did the account setup permit you to create username and strong
passwords, and did you create a robust password (alpha-numeric+special
characters, etc), or was it setup for you? This applies to the account
question
2. Is it DSL, cable, wireless, or dedicated circuit (This goes to the
recording and account questions)?
3. Do you have access to an encrypted account management web site or is
it http? This also applies to the account question
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.
