Hi all,
I setup openser on Fedora core 3 Linux and modified
the openser.cfg as required by the TLS faq and docs at
openser.org.
When I try to sign in using windows messenger I got
the following message from windows messenger. It gives
the following error messenger; "There was a problem
verifying the certificate from the server ....."
Here is an excerpt from my openser.cfg -
disable_tls = 0
listen = tls:172.21.1.235:5061
tls_verify = 0
tls_require_certificate = 0
tls_method = TLSv1
tls_certificate =
"/usr/local/etc/openser/tls/user/user-cert.pem"
tls_private_key =
"/usr/local/etc/openser/tls/user/user-privkey.pem"
tls_ca_list =
"/usr/local/etc/openser/tls/user/user-calist.pem"
And I have added the default root
certificate(\tls\rootCA) of openser into
windows ... I did that through the control panel of
internet explorer. I also used openssl(0.9.7) to
create another certificate, but it didn't work.
Does anyone send "effective" certificate(include
rootCA) to me(i3311 at seed.net.tw)?

Registration is now open for the SURA-ViDe 2006 Digital Video conference.
This conference has become a widely-recognized event for learning about
development and deployment showcasing the growing promise of digital video
technology. This year's conference will take place March 27-30 at the
Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
The conference begins Monday evening, March 27, with a reception and the
keynote address by Rick Prelinger, founder of the Prelinger Archives and
President of the Board of Directors of the Internet Archive. Tuesday and
Wednesday are filled with birds-of-a-feather get-togethers and presentation
sessions on automated video processing and analysis, conferencing,
webcasting, streaming, real time collaboration, health sciences
applications, digital libraries, public broadcasting, K-12 applications,
firewall problems, VoIP projects, video searchability, big video, and more.
And, for the first time, there will be a session where just the exhibitors
speak.
Early registration will end February 28. Registration includes receptions
Monday and Tuesday evening; and presentations, breakout sessions,
continental breakfast, refreshment breaks, lunch, and wireless access on
Tuesday and Wednesday.
ViDe is introducing memberships in ViDe this year - an important new
development. Conference registration fees are lower for members. Please
see the registration page and online membership brochure for an explanation
of the membership benefits, options, and conference registration fees.
A post-conference workshop, with separate registration fee, is being
offered Thursday, March 30th: Advanced Topics in Audio/Video Conferencing.
($150 which includes continental breakfast, lunch, breaks, and wireless
access on Thursday)
