I have read it and the content is good for management types. If you
have been technically involved in VoIP and security for any length of
time you will out grow the information in the book rather quickly. IMHO
the book is great for providing some technical level information and
security issues to managers and directors but there are no real
solutions or novel ideas offered. There is nothing new, presented. No
concepts or approaches that have not already been published ad nauseum
in other places. The book actually appears to me to be a collection of
information gathered off the Internet and not really much an original
work at all. So if the audience of the book was security managers and
those not in the weeds then I see some real value. If the book was
intended for technical level people charged with designing and
implementing the solutions to protect the network, then I see much less
value. If you are looking for fresh technical ideas and approaches you
won't find them here.
